As a father of two young children, Scott will keep making sure our streets, schools, homes, and parks are safe. Scott has worked to ensure our police and fire rescue services attract and retain the best talent and have the necessary tools and resources to serve and protect our citizens. Mayor Singer called for police officers to be in all public schools after the Parkland tragedy, and committed to ensure Boca Police would fill in any gaps in coverage. Scott also served on the state’s Sober Homes Task Force, which made meaningful recommendations to change the law and led to reduction in opioid abuse and unscrupulous marketing, helping to protect single-family neighborhoods. Mayor Singer is proud to be endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 35, and Firefighters and Paramedics of Boca Raton, IAFF Local 1560, because it shows their understanding of his commitment to public safety in Boca Raton.
